Designed in an oval shape, the plate has a built in egg cup on the right hand side which has a little egg painted in the center. The plate features a beautifully painted image of a little ducking with his young, fluffy feathers painted in soft shades of brown with Wrendale’s trademark paint speckling surrounding him.

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.
