Part of the Portmeirion Wrendale Collection from Royal Worcester, this gorgeous fine china mug depicts a wide-eyed calf painted in soft, warm tones. The calf has a cheeky look on his face and is sticking his tongue out at the artist. On the back is a black and white cow chewing some grass. Painted in watercolour, the illustration pleasingly contrasts against the crisp white background of the card. Surrounding the animal is speckles of black paint, in a way that it very synonymous with the Wrendale brand.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.
